Use your current prescription benefit plan for medications not listed on the formulary, including generic medications, controlled substances, and antibiotics. CRX International sources all medications from government-regulated pharmacies in Tier 1 countries, which the U.S. Congress has designated as having safety and licensing standards equivalent to or higher than those of the United States. To ensure patient safety, CRX Insurance requires all medications to be sourced from these Tier 1 countries. Medications are manufacturer-packaged, distributed through government-regulated wholesalers, prescribed by licensed practitioners, labeled and dispensed by licensed local pharmacists, and shipped directly to patients. CRX International also regularly inspects its licensed pharmacies to verify compliance with safety standards and regulations. Although some medications may have a different name or appearance (such as a tablet instead of a capsule), they are therapeutically equivalent to their U.S. counterparts.
CRX International is a voluntary pharmacy program that can only be used for “select brand-name medications” listed on the CRX International formulary.

Will the CRX International program replace our current prescription benefit plan? “No”. The success of the CRS International Voluntary Pharmacy Program begins when taking a new‐to‐you medication, CRX International requires a local trial in which the initial counseling would be received from a local pharmacy. This ensures that you know how to properly take the medication and are aware of possible side effects. The trial also ensures there are no adverse reactions to the medication and that your prescriber has determined it is appropriate to continue therapy prior to ordering a three‐month supply. Additionally, if you have questions regarding your medications CRX International has a pharmacist available to answer questions. There is also a 24‐hour emergency line.

To enroll, please fill out an online enrollment form. CRX International requires this online form to be completed for the safety of the patient. Your current medication list and health history are used for prescriber review and to complete a drug utilization review that could identify possible interactions. Additionally, you will need a new prescription for each medication and an image of your photo identification. To avoid a possible delay, it is recommended that you first inquire with one of our representatives for confirmation on whether the medication is available. A three‐month prescription with three refills should be requested from your prescriber – and a 30‐day prescription for local filling to ensure your continued course of therapy during your enrollment period. Prescriptions can be mailed or sent by fax directly from your prescriber’s office. Enroll today and be on your way to more cost-effective and convenient medications shipped right to your door.
Once all correspondence is received and registration is confirmed, it takes three to five business days to process internally. Your order is then sent to the international pharmacy for dispensing. Please allow four weeks for delivery of your package. All member copayments have been waived for this program only and there are “no individual shipping charges”, the program covers all shipping costs. You will never be contacted by any party to pay any additional fees associated with shipping, importation, or other. Please notify CRX International immediately if you are.
